Breastfeeding :

It is in adolescence that the young girl thinks of breastfeeding if she understands that her nascent breasts will be to nourish her children, beyond the expression of her femininity.

  • In order to have milk the mother must sleep, especially naps, because she wakes up at night.
  • Wait until the baby is hungry: he remains angry at the "Magic Pinky".
  • Breastfeeding is an intimate act, mom isolates herself with her baby. She settles comfortably and releases both her breasts.
  • It is the baby who suckles, he alone regulates the position of the nipple on his palate, to breathe he moves his head back alone. Avoid touching your breast to make it breathe because it removes the nipple from the right place for him, he will then suck harder to put it back in the right place at the risk of making cracks.
  • When the other breast is sagging, it's time to change it.
  • At the end of the feed, he stops swallowing but still sucks slowly.
  • A small burp on your right shoulder for a short while.
  • Give him "Magic Pinky" to start his digestion.
  • Then sleep because you feel like it.
  • Skin to skin regulates lactation.

  • This method helps to avoid cracks, engorgement, lymphangitis, galactophoritis or breast abscess.
  • The breast pump kills the Maternal Breast Milk,  the whole immune system (protective 72 hours) transmitted by the mother is neutralized on the non biological walls of the containers. But it remains nourishing even if the bacteria transmitted are different.
  • Weaning: ideally between 6 months and 2 years of age, gradually eliminating one feed a day, keeping the morning and evening feeds that he prefers as long as possible. After diversification, delay feeding, shorten it, change the place and time without refusing your breasts.
  • You can always resume breastfeeding at the weekend or on holiday, especially if you take naps to compensate for waking at night.
